You hunt at 14,000 feet / 5,000 m. Physical condition is a factor on the stalking portion of the hunt. A long range shooting, up to 400-500 yards/m is usual for Marco Polo Argali hunt.

Average shooting distance is from 400 to 500 yards, so rifles in the .300 magnum class are generally recommended, and hunters should be well-practiced and comfortable shooting at longer distances.
The high-altitude terrain can get extremely cold and windy. Since the climate is very dry, staying hydrated is a must.
