This estates are mainly devoted to the red partridge and their owners have oriented its management to produce top quality birds and are proud to provide unforgettable shots.
It is famous for its spectacular Red-legged partridge drive hunt, it has hunted for nearly 100 years for the best shotguns in the world.
The estate has a spectacular hunting lodge offering maximum luxury and comfort. The house has 14 double rooms, lounges with different atmospheres and a magnificent dining room. As for the food we care to the smallest detail using only products of the highest quality.

San Bruno estate has been a family property for several generations with more than 14,000 acres in Castilla La Mancha Province, where both big game and partridge hunts are offered. It is characterized by its typical Mediterranean forest of holm oaks, olive trees and crops where various game species coexist such as deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer and wild boar.
The best option is to travel to Madrid, and there our staff will pick up you and will help you with all the necessary paperwork with weapons. The hunting area is two hour and an a half minutes by car, next to the village ¨El Viso del Marques¨. It is an enjoyable trip and on first level roads.
The centuries old protocol and traditions of driven bird shooting are kept alive at San Bruno. Fifty-five beaters marshalled by their horse-mounted leader begin driving towards the ten shooters, spaced in a line 40 meters apart. Each shooter is accompanied by two “secretaries”, one responsible for quickly reloading the fine side-by-side or over/under smoothbores and the other keeping accurate count of the birds downed. As the beaters draw near, birds break from the cover and fly erratically over the line of hunters. It is not uncommon for an individual to kill 50 partridge on a single drive. At the end of each drive an army of black and yellow Labrador Retrievers are loosed to reclaim each of the downed partridges.
Watching the three dozen plus dogs work is nearly as much fun as the actual shooting. Between the second and third drive, a formal lunch or “taco” is presented in the field. Fine china and silver atop a linen table cloth compliment the extravagant array of cheeses, meats and casseroles. Of course, one’s thirst is quenched with fine Spanish wine.

Once you have decided to come to Spain to hunt with us, we must follow these steps:
1- We will need you to send us a copy of your passport and that of the companions, in addition to a hunting license from your country and a guide to the weapons you are going to bring.
2 -US Citizens: We will send you the invitation letter and the list of consulates of Spain in your country to request an authorization to practice hunting. Once you have this authorization (the consulate takes about 3 weeks to prepare it) you have to send us a copy by mail and you must also bring the original with you on your hunting trip.
3 - You will have to fill out a form that we will send to customize and make your trip much more pleasant.
4 -We will need a copy of the plane tickets.
Before you go, check the list of vaccines and health risks relevant to Spain. For personalized advice, check with your ministry of foreign affairs for medical information to suit all destinations on your itinerary.
Any traveler affected by a chronic illness must carry the necessary medication for the entire duration of the trip.
